Day 7: What to Write About When You've Run out of Ideas
Updated: Jun 18, 2020
So, as you may have guessed from the title, I don't actually have a clue on what I should write about today. My mind is pretty blank at the moment (at least it feels that way-there I go with my feelings again). OK so I'm not entirely stuck for ideas because I have a list of things that I could write about. However, that list of things in not on my person right now and I can't be bothered to go and get it (wherever it is) so i might as well write about things to write about? Clever idea eh? So here goes, a list of things that you (well me) could write about when you're out of ideas:
You could write about a favourite memory from childhood
You could write about your favourite memory from a holiday that you've been on
You could write about your top 5 dream holiday destinations and why you would want to go there and the things you'd really like to do
Write about the 5 foods you wish you could live without
Write about the 5 top foods you wish you ate more often because of their health benefits
You could write about the person you miss the most
You could write about the person you miss the least (lol)
Write about where you would like to be and what you would like to achieve in 5 years time
Write about one food you would like to try and who you would eat it with if you could eat with anyone past present or future
(oh gosh I forgot to start the timer and I can’t remember when I started this. OMG)
You could write about world peace and what you would do to achieve it if you could
You could talk about some of the current affairs that are going on the world at this present time and the kind of outcome that you would wish for
You could write a letter to your future self and congratulate yourself on what you wish to achieve buy that time in the future
Write a letter to your past self, encourage yourself and forgive yourself for any past mistakes that you're still banging your head over about
Write about your favourite subject at school and how it has influenced you in your life today
Write about your favourite teacher that you had growing up
Write about your favourite artist and how you have been influenced by them in your art practice
Write about your favourite book
Write about your favourite movie
Write about the last time you went on holiday
Write about your favourite family memory
OK that's all for today.
Here's a piece of art to look at:
